My first entry

I asked myself enough questions before starting my own blog, which included:

  • Do I need a blog?
  • Do I want one?
  • Can I write enough to make my own blog worthwhile?

My answers initially: No. No. No.

But after 999 tweets, many road trips to conferences and seeing the true value of having my own blog, here I am.

I’ve been following many writers for the past year on varying topics that touch on technology in education. George Couros, Mark CarboneLisa Nielsen and of course Brandon Grasley to mention a few of the many blogs that I follow.

It dawned on me that sharing my thoughts would not only allow me to reflect on my learning, but to also share with others in the hopes to give back to the blogging community.

Stay tuned, and I hope you enjoy what I have to share as I get this thing going.

  1. Hey Mr. Anello,
Glad you’re joining the blog army. I find this medium really helpful when I have more to say than Twitter’s 140 characters allow. Thanks for the mention in this post (with august company, no less!), and I’m looking forward to learning from and with you through your posts!
